AbdulFatah Muhammad reports,

The Muslim Studentsโ€™ Society of Nigeria, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (MSSN-UDUS), has announced plans to commence its first semester tutorials for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, on Monday, January 12, 2026, at designated lecture halls on the Main Campus.

The tutorial programme, coordinated by the Societyโ€™s Education Committee, will hold at lecture halls A133, A40, A37, and A30, and is expected to run from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays to Thursdays, throughout the first semester.

According to the Society, the tutorials are designed to provide additional academic support to students across various courses, particularly in areas where classroom learning may require reinforcement.

Students of the university have been encouraged to take advantage of the initiative, which is open to participants throughout the duration of the first semester.

In a related development, the society has also called on interested members of its General Executive and other qualified individuals to volunteer as tutors or provide academic support during the tutorial sessions.

The Education Committee explained that volunteers are expected to indicate their availability and preferred courses, adding that a timetable has already been prepared to guide the sessions.

The Society, going further, appealed to members of the university community for cooperation regarding the use of the approved lecture halls during the stated periods, explaining that the programme is being conducted in the interest of the students and with official authorization.
